Our Story
Rooted in Newport, built for the coast.
Coast Restaurant Group is a family-owned hospitality company based in Newport, Oregon. What started with a single waterfront restaurant has grown into three distinct brands — Clearwater Restaurant, The Barge Inn Tavern, and RISE Grab & Go — serving four locations across Newport and South Beach.
Each brand has its own personality, but they share the same kitchen leadership, the same standards for sourcing, and the same commitment to the community that raised them.

Tower-Garden Program
Specialty greens, grown on site.
Our tower gardens are a small, focused program — specialty produce like microgreens, herbs, and edible flowers used as garnishes and finishing touches. They move from garden to kitchen in a matter of days, at their peak.
It's a detail, not the whole pantry — but it's the kind of detail our chefs use across every brand, from Clearwater plates to cross-brand catering menus.
